Tell me about your top 10 favorite make up products. Be specific and tell me what you use it for and why you love it! Heres my list:

1. Ambi Even & Clear SPF 30 (With Soy Extract, Vitamin C & E) Moisturizer is make up – you cannot have flawless make up without having a great canvas to start with. I believe that many of our skin issues come from not using enough moisturizer. If you find that your foundation gets flakey through the day, if your skin tone is uneven or you battle acne even though you’re using the strongest face wash available – you probably need to moisturize. Soy extract has been shown to have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It also aids in producing firmness and elasticity. Vitamin C helps prevent wrinkles and Vitamin E is another antioxidant. Paired together they help to enhance each others effects. I love this moisturizer because I don’t feel greasy after wearing it and my skin has never felt so soft! I found it at Target…gotta love Target!

2. Kiss My Face SPF 8 – Beach – I just started using tinted moisturizers. I find myself at the beach rather often plus I just hate the feel of heavy foundation! This tinted moisturizer has just enough pigment to even out my redness while not being cakey or oily.

3. Bare Minerals – Mineral Veil – As a make up artist I LOVE this product. You can use a lot of it under eyes to catch messy eye shadow powder or you can use just a little to set make up and get rid of shiny skin.

4. Almay – Trio for Hazels – I love this trio and I don’t even have hazel eyes. I find the brown is perfect for filling in my eyebrows (with a small brush in short strokes). The pink is natural so it can be used for any color eyes and the beige is perfect for highlighting when white is too harsh. What a great deal!

5. Lancome Star Bronzer – Bronze Riche – I recently discovered a part of my face that is often forgotten and neglected - CHEEKS!!! There is more than just an apple there – there are bones! Accentuated just right can make you look sexier in an instant. I love this bronzer – its natural yet I don’t have to worry about looking like I’ve been playing in self tanner. For someone with freckles I recommend it as it blends well with the colors that are already on our face.

6. Cover Girl Eye Pencil – Black Onyx – If you have blue eyes or green eyes, brown eye liner is great for making your eyes really POP! For the rest of us with what often seem boring brown eyes – I love black eyeliner! When used on the inside of the eye it can make your eyes stand out and your lashes look even longer when you add mascara.

7. RIMMEL Lash Maxxx – Extreme Black – Speaking of mascara! There are so many on the market right now that volume, lengthen, thicken, curl, straighten your eyelashes its hard to know which one is best!!! Right now, my favorite is Rimmel Lash Maxxx – the unique wand is shaped like a comb and it really separates lashes. Each individual lash gets coated and the length added is incredible! And its available at your local CVS or Target!

8. MAC – Gesso – A lot of make up artist are 100% loyal to MAC and while I love their high pigment eye shadows – I believe that you can find great make up in a variety of brands. However, I’ve yet to find a white eye shadow that can compete with Gesso. Use as a highlighter or with an angle (my favorite) brush as an eyeliner. It can also accentuate “wings” for a more high fashion look.

9. MAC – Honesty – I love this color for a basic light brown shadow. It has a little shimmer to it which is great for capturing the light, so I love it as an all over wash for the eyes.

10. MAC – Nymphette – If you know you’re not going to be kissing anyone for a while but still want to turn heads – I love this lip gloss. Its so shiny and it looks great with any skin tone.
